However, Cristina fell in love with her job. She was making a difference in the lives of the children she worked with and their families, and she knew that this was exactly what she wanted to pursue.
Cristina worked for a few years as a Behavior Technician, and then as a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Cristina decided to pursue her Masters degree, and graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2015 with a specialization in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis. Cristina passed the Board Exam in February of 2017, making her a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
During all this time, Cristina has worked in various settings, including clinical settings, at the home, at school, and in the community. Cristina’s experiences has given her the knowledge to effectively conduct assessments, create, and implement behavior analytic interventions, provide training and supervision to direct therapists, and train caregivers and staff in the home and school setting. Cristina is constantly striving to improve the quality of her work so that she can continue to improve the lives of the children and their families.
